Tangerine Salon is one of the anchors of the North Dallas beauty scene, working out of the Preston Hollow Village district and drawing guests from Highland Park, University Park and Lake Highlands. As an exclusive Aveda partner it puts color first: plant-derived formulas, botanical repair and a long-view approach to blonding rather than a do-everything menu. The team styled the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for the Netflix series America’s Sweethearts.

Color is the heart of the menu: dimensional brunettes, custom blonding engineered for a seamless grow-out, gray coverage and full blonde-to-brunette transitions. Hand-painted balayage and classic foil work get combined when a look calls for it.

Technology and brands

Aveda runs across the board: Full Spectrum color, Demi+, the Botanical Repair bonding system and Invati Advanced for home care. Extensions are installed with Bellami Professional by certified specialists. Tools and capes are disinfected between guests, and color is mixed per client.

Team and stylists

Master colorists, Aveda-certified Purefessionals and in-house educators work the floor. Every new stylist completes a structured onboarding program before working independently, so technique stays consistent, and a consultation precedes any large transformation.

The Space

The studio is laid out as three distinct spaces under twenty-eight-foot ceilings: a glass-enclosed main salon, an elevated loft lounge with its own shampoo area, and a private styling retreat for guests who prefer not to sit in the open room. Free surface parking sits at the door.
