Dallas welcomed its own in the Park District, where the restaurant quickly became a brunch landmark and a pre-park, post-work, any-excuse kind of place.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_to_order\"><\/span>What to order<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Everyone&#8217;s first table order is the chicken &#8216;n&#8217; watermelon &#8216;n&#8217; waffles \u2014 sweet, salty, crunchy and made for sharing photos before sharing bites. The fried green tomato BLT with smoked pork belly and pimento cheese is the lunch move, warm biscuits are non-negotiable, and the bourbon cocktails give the meal its slow Southern rhythm. Brunch here is an event, not a meal slot.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_space\"><\/span>The space<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Rockwell Group design pairs industrial openness with front-porch warmth: high ceilings and clean lines inside, wooden lattice and swing seating on the wraparound patio outside.
